You know, it is so simple if someone pays attention. But when you stack the panel then it’s just sound bites. Sad really.

Sad indeed. Most don’t realize what they are up against until the very last moment. Consider the resources of the state, ..now look in your wallet.
Thanks for dropping in Tubularsock. Greetings.

From its introduction, I thought this was to be article of the tiny percentage of Americans “who have even the slightest comprehension of their loss of liberty . . .” It’s a pungent article indeed and well worth one’s time, and I thank you for bringing it to light, but that’s not what it’s about, is it. It’s about the too large percentage of Americans who know damn well their loss of liberty, loss of justice, the tyranny and brutality of authority, the law as a weapon against the individual, the pathetic State of the Union. The great American sham(e), it is. Yes, beyond sad. But I think a better introduction would have been the tiny percentage of Americans who have even the slightest comprehension of the monumental dangers awaiting their liberty, what little remain of it.
And of course, smartphones, YouTube, and social media, particularly Facebook and Twitter, now collude with reality shows and spectator sports to keep them ever more distracted, and surveilled. But the problem isn’t those things, per se. It is the problem of the individual; perhaps genetics, which keeps all but the tiny percentage of all peoples unaware. And authority plays on that normalcy bias, or simple stupidity, take your pick.
Pithy too your comment, “Consider the resources of the state, now look in your wallet.” And, it will never get better only worse with higher taxes, fees, fines, licenses, permits, parking levies, tolls, where does it all stop? It doesn’t. It can’t. It’s too late. It can only implode. I think we are witness to the beginning of the end.
Thank you, Onno.

Hi Peter, I reblogged this, took it down, and reposted it again. I wasn’t sure if there was a point in posting what to me seems obvious.
“you can lead a Horse to Water, but you can’t make him drink” seems to apply to this situation. Thanks for taking the time, ….
